Dem on Trump transparency: ‘If you…

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) knocked the White House’s public disclosure practices on Monday, saying that President Trump needs to learn there’s little privacy in politics.“Sometimes I think [President Trump] doesn’t understand the line between being a private businessman and serving the public trust, and he thinks he can just run his life the same way he’s done for 50 years,” Cummings said, according to The New York Times.“But this is about the public trust. If you want to get rich, don’t get into politics. I know that. If you want privacy, don’t go into politics. He needs to learn that,” the lawmaker added.White House press secretary Sean Spicer last week announced that the Trump administration would not release visitor logs for the…

‘Shattered’ Charts Hillary Clinton’s Course Into…

“Our failure to reach out to white voters, like literally from the New Hampshire primary on, it never changed,” one campaign official is quoted as saying.Photo Hillary Clinton, right, with her aide Huma Abedin talking on her campaign plane in October 2016. “Shattered” describes a presidential campaign that turned a winnable election into a devastating loss. Netflix’s Plan Doesn’t Include Following Amazon…

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) has found a content formula that works, and while the company will expand the edges of that plan, it won’t be making any major changes. The streaming giant closed the first quarter with 98.75 million subscribers, up from 93.8 million at the close of the previous quarter. In addition, the company saw its revenue grow by 34.7% year-over-year. It also saw net income jump from $28 million in Q1 2016 to $178 million in Q1 2017. Netflix has hit these new highs driven by two things that go hand in hand — its global expansion to nearly every country and its aggressive original content strategy. In its Q1 letter to shareholders released Monday, the company offered details on…

But during the annual Easter Egg Roll? Not so much. The event, in which thousands visit the South Lawn of the White House and children attempt to roll hard-boiled eggs down a short racetrack, has become an opportunity for the executive mansion — and its most famous occupant — to relax a…
