The goal, according to the Disney Imagineers developing the rides, shops, shows, and activities, is a blank slate for guests, something unconstrained by existing stories. Wall Street (and journalists) love the idea of a dazzling megadeal, and its latest iteration, which considers the long-rumored possibility of a tie-up between Apple (AAPL) and Disney  (DIS) , seems almost irresistible.  It’s not hard to think of reasons why an Apple-Disney deal would make sense, but as several analysts have pointed out, there would be a lot of complicated moving parts involved in making it happen. RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani, who explored the possibility in a note to clients on Thursday, doesn’t seem very convinced, assigning a very small likelihood of a deal actually getting done (in his words, the possibility is merely “greater than zero %”). Investors are increasingly considering whether Apple should buy Walt Disney Co. to give both companies a major boost as the consumer technology and entertainment industries continue to converge, RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani observed in a report on Thursday. The analyst said he favored such a deal, but didn’t offer any evidence that either company was actually working on the theorized transaction.A combination would strengthen both companies, giving Disney stronger distribution for its content as consumers turn increasingly to their mobile devices, while Apple could build the Internet-based video service it has long sought, Daryanani wrote.
