Many of us get these updates on our smartphones, or tablets just about every month. They are security updates which don’t really change anything for the user, or really show them anything new, but it does protect the user from exploits. Now many users will see this update come in as a notification and opt to ignore it (in fact, more than half of Android users will ignore it, according to Google’s numbers), instead of installing the update.
